Draft — effective date to be set by the practice
Our commitment
1234 Ortho-K Vision Care wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, people who have trouble using a mouse, and many others.
What we have done
Here are some of the steps we have taken:
- Readable text. We use comfortable text sizes and line spacing, with larger text for Chinese.
- Color contrast. We choose text and background colors that meet the WCAG AA contrast levels.
- Keyboard access. You can move through our pages, menus and booking-request form using only a keyboard.
- Descriptive image text. Our photos have short text descriptions that screen readers can read aloud.
- Three languages. Our pages are available in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. A language switcher appears on every page.
We check the website when we make changes, and we will keep working to improve it.
Known limitations
Some of the Chinese text on our website is still being reviewed. Until that review is done, some wording may be unclear or may not match the English version exactly. If anything is confusing, please call us and we will explain it.
Some parts of the website may not yet meet every standard. If you find one, please let us know so we can fix it.
